- Work with Trinity Foundation leadership to establish fundraising goals, objectives, strategies, schedules, and analysis of results for each element of the annual giving program.
- Work with the Trinity Foundation leadership and Marketing and Communications to coordinate a cohesive marketing effort to increase gifts through advertising, publications, social networking.. Capable of writing messages and content for annual giving printed, electronic and verbal script materials.
- Analyze data regarding all giving programs and past giving trends to provide analyses of program results and to plan for future segmentation.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of health system’s programs and organizational priorities.
- Assist with development and integration of short, intermediate and long-term individual major gifts.
- Assist with development of strategic funding requests based on short, intermediate, and long-term funding goals of the organization for high net worth individuals.
- Integrate planned gift objectives into major individual donor requests.
- Adheres to all departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
- Plan and implement funding campaigns, events and activities (volunteer experiences, tours, receptions, etc.) for individual major gift donors using existing activities, as appropriate.
- Execute major gift materials, including briefing memos, proposals and stewardship materials.
- Manage and coordinate volunteer donor groups to cultivate and request new gifts.
- Monitor weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual activity to achieve major gift revenue goals.
- Assist with review and verification of major gift donor recognition lists.
- Track and report relationship management activity using constituent relationship management system including identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of prospective and current individual major donors.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Experience:
4 years of nonprofit experience, major gift experience preferred.
License(s)/Certification(s):
Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to build rapport quickly with current and prospective donors, maintain relationships and adapt to change. Must have strong writing and grammatical skills. Must have the ability to organize work effectively.
