Public Safety Dispatcher
Full-Time; 1st Shift
7 : 00am-3 : 00pm
Rock Island, IL
Monitors Switchboard and Dispatcher services and staff members on a day-to-day basis to ensure the provision of excellent customer service.
Provides additional switchboard / Dispatch coverage as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintains department schedule.
- Works with manager to address disciplinary issues involving switchboard and dispatch staff.
- Schedules and attends meetings with appropriate management to foster unity between departments.
- Monitors and demonstrates appropriate departmental dress code.
Qualifications
Education :
High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Experience :
Previous experience in a leadership capacity with excellent consumer relations skills
