Universal Remanufacturing is currently seeking experienced Welder/Fabricator/Equipment Mechanic at our Warren, MI remanufacturing facility.
The qualified candidate will be able to weld and join materials together in a Manufacturing Environment. They will disassemble/assemble equipment, utilizing knowledge of working characteristics of metallic materials, and layout techniques, using hand tools, machines, and equipment while utilizing blueprints and shop drawings.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· This position is responsible for disassembling/reassembling equipment
· Rebuilding trailer/forklift axles routing and replacing air/electrical components
· Tire mount/dismount Landing gear mount/dismount
· Frame repair/reconditioning
· Painting equipment

Requirements for Trailer Mechanic:
· 1 year of basic welding experience
· Basic set of hand tools for automotive type repairs
· Previous experience in chassis repair and welding preferred
Experience:
