University Advancement is seeking a CRM Business Analyst to join its team. Reporting to the Director of CRM User Experience, the CRM Business Analyst is part of the University Advancement CRM core team and leads both Salesforce and serves as a liaison with units and schools to provide an excellent and positive user experience for the USC development community. Incumbent will have an in-depth knowledge of system functionality, user system requirements, and Salesforce developer time management with assessing and completing Salesforce software application enhancements. The services offered by these teams in central advancement are used by all advancement employees across the University.
Responsibilities:
Meet with users on a regular basis to encourage discussion regarding the CRM platform. Communicate new features, identify issues, encourage proper usage, resolve questions, and solicit ideas for improvement.
Run user requirement gathering sessions, focus groups, functionality tests, and training sessions.
Conduct testing as needed on the system and its various modules.
Assist with administrator functions including user account creation, review, and maintenance.
Partner with multiple, cross-department business stakeholders as well as with internal IT colleagues to drive the execution of process and system improvements leveraging enterprise-wide cloud-based applications.
Perform data analysis, including data cleansing, manipulation, and uploads.
Constantly seek out, contribute, and implement ideas for process improvements, more efficient use of resources and quicker issue-resolution.
Create business process documents and training materials.
Ensure timely resolution of production bugs and issues.
Supports end users with on-boarding, training, and troubleshooting as needed.
Serves as a liaison between functional/user teams and IT teams.
Qualifications:
4 years of experience in business process design or data administration and user documentation in relevant enterprise environments, preferably in a higher education environment.
Self-driven ability to understand, discover, resolve, and recommend options to solve complex business issues with technology solutions.
Customer-focused attitude and creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to produce and decipher complex technical use cases, user stories, process flows, data analysis, data mapping, interfaces and testing activities on cloud-based solutions.
Excellent analytical skills – including requirements analysis, solution design, and problem solving.
Experience creating and executing test scenarios.
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
Salesforce experience and certifications a plus.

The annual base salary range for this position is $78,540.17 - $97,529.62.
