As an Auto Sales Representative at University Ford, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to provide exceptional vehicles and services to our customers.

Your role involves assisting customers in finding their ideal vehicle, understanding their needs, and delivering outstanding buying experience.

Our core values serve as the foundation of our business and shape our hiring process.

Automotive Sales Representative Responsibilities :

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through the vehicle selection process with a focus on their preferences and needs through active listening, answering their questions and offering relevant solutions.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our vehicle inventory, including features, specifications, and pricing options.
  • Facilitate test drives and showcase the benefits of our vehicles to potential buyers.
  • Follow up with clients in a timely manner to discuss their experience, ensure satisfaction, and resolve any complaints as quickly and thoroughly as possible.
  • Effectively communicate financing and leasing options, assisting customers in understanding their choices.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent records within CRM for all customer interactions.
  • Meet daily KPI's and monthly / quarterly Sales Targets.
  • Be a contributing member of the Sales Team in revenue, culture, and brand image.
  • Communicate the company’s value propositions to all vendors, end-users, and other clients.

Automotive Sales Representative Qualifications :

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in automotive sales, automotive financing, customer service, real estate, business development and / or marketing is strongly preferred
  • Active State Driver's License required
  • Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing
  • Ability to operate and navigate a motor vehicle
  • Strong sense of product knowledge and a passion for automotive, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem Solving - Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions;

work well in group problem-solving situations.

Adaptability - Adapt to changes in the work environment; manage competing demands; change approach or method to best fit the situation;

able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

  • Attendance / Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrive at meetings and appointments on time.
  • Inspire the trust of others; work with integrity and ethically; uphold organizational values.
  • Displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions.
  • Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles, measures self against standard of excellence.
