EMN Administration is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented self-sufficient Analyst to join our team. As part of the EMN Administrative Unit, the Analyst serves a large unit with multiple entities (Evolution, Ecology and Organismal Biology, Molecular Cell and System Biology, the Natural Reserves, Stem Cell and Imaging Core Centers) and must be able to successfully perform a wide range of activities in a high volume, fast-paced environment. The encumbrance provides support for the financial management of a cluster of departments and provides high level administrative and technical support for contract and grant application process and post award fund administration. The encumbrance must use skills as a seasoned, experienced research administrator to independently develop and/or oversee research proposals, awards and/or transactions related to contract and grant management and maintains contract and grant records in compliance with institutional research sponsor policies. They work on proposals and awards of diverse scope where analysis of data requires thorough understanding of complex regulations; and works on complex proposals and awards that may involve multiple investigators and/or multiple sub awards. They performs complex budget/resource analysis including forecasting, retrieving data from campus financial systems, organizing, and validating data, and the preparation of comprehensive reports for principal management. The encumbrance will participate in the design of department systems and processes to enhance processing and reporting tools.

The full salary range for the Senior Contracts and Grants Analyst is $64,300.00 - $114,300.00 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $64,300.00 - $76,800.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
