What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Marketing Position position at University of Florida?
- Creating essential written and oral communications to students regarding the GATORONE ID, meal plans, bookstore accounts, banking options, and similar activities.
- At Preview sessions, coordinate activities and represent Business Services at informational sessions (develop and give presentations) and tabling.
- Will use data analytics and statistical analysis to manage and provide recommendations for Secret Shopper program.
- Promote Business Services projects and campaigns around campus, via social media, canvassing, tabling at Preview, or through other creative outlets.
- Manage relationships, engage with students and various campus departments via social media
- Monitor trends
- Create content calendars
- Participate in collaborative campaigns
- Create content for the Business Services website, including press releases, feature stories, photo and video.
Expected Salary:
$13.50-$16.50 Hourly
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to work 15-20 hours per week.
- Valid Florida Driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Qualtrics, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and Canva.
- Extensive knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments as needed.
- University of Florida student currently enrolled in Marketing, Communications or similar field.
