Position Description:
Analyze ProCard and Fuel Card transaction data and conduct compliance reviews to mitigate risk/financial loss and investigate suspicious activity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand business processes, policies, vision and strategies within the operating purview of the business.
- Utilize 3rd party and in-house reports daily, weekly and monthly to conduct an ongoing review of financial activities of university card holders. Review and flag transactions daily within OnBase.
- Conduct compliance reviews of ProCard and Fuel Card accounts in conjunction with the review schedule.
- Prepare clear, concise reports detailing the review findings and steps necessary for remediation. Solicit departmental LFO's feedback as needed and provide individual/departmental trainings as needed based on audit findings.
- Assist with troubleshooting end-user questions as it relates to the ProCard modules in PeopleSoft and OnBase.
- Responsible for various ProCard maintenance reporting and follow-up.
- Work with the other compliance analyst to create and maintain a yearly review schedule.
- Create and maintain the standard operating procedures for internal use and instructional documents for external use (as related to assigned job duties).
- Work with the Director, Procurement Systems and Card Operations to recommend changes to current policies or add new policies based on compliance review or bench-marking results.
- Provide day-to-day oversight of the University's fuel card program, including but not limited to declines, accepted locations, fuel card applications, PIN requests, and monthly fuel invoices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
