ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
1. Answers all phone calls to the Admissions Office. Provides information to families regarding visits, application process, and University information.
Records information after phone calls in each student's application record to reflect the conversation.
2. Coordinates and maintains the Office of Enrollment Services visit calendar for prospective student visits.
3. Frequently interacts with faculty, staff and coaches to coordinate visits for prospective students and parents.
4. Follows up with visit confirmations to families with personalized visit schedules.
5. Greets prospective students and families, arranges and schedules campus tours and counselor appointments. Arranges appointments with coaches and faculty for students who wish to meet them or visit a class.
6. Works with the Campus Events Coordinator who supervises the University Ambassadors to coordinate campus tours, group visits, and special tours.
7. Assists with data entry in Slate by updating visit information in student records.
8. Helps keep the waiting area maintained to welcome families and admissions visitors; includes updating the visitor names on the Admissions slide show and offering refreshments to visitors upon arrival to campus.
9. Maintains the information table in the lobby to keep it stocked with appropriate materials for prospective students / guests.
11. All other duties as assigned by the Vice President, Director of Admissions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
- Education : High school diploma
- Ability to : Multi-task and work well as part of a team. Provide strong customer service and a detail-oriented approach to the position.
Work a flexible schedule beyond normal hours of 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., which may include evening or weekend hours, as required.
Physical Requirements : Ability to sit for extended periods during scheduled shifts.

ORAL OR WRITTEN REQUIREMENTS :
Ability to speak and write effectively, attention to detail, ability to proofread.
WORKING CONDITIONS :
Long hours of sitting in front of a computer. Ability to lift 10 pounds.
PREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE :
- A college degree is preferred. Experience working with students in a college or classroom environment is preferred.
- Two (2) years of related experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of or the ability to learn and use database applications, customer relationship manager (CRM) system, and other systems or applications that may be used within the University or division is also preferred.
