Job Description
We are looking for experienced EEG Techs to join our extraordinary team!
As an EEG Technician you will:
- Provides comprehensive care to patients requiring diagnostic testing in an organized and systematic manner according to established department/hospital policies and standards unless specified differently by the Cardiologist.
- Responds effectively in an patient care emergency situation and adheres to infection control standards specific to patient care. Communicates proactively to the health care team; plan of care, changes in patients condition and other relevant information and documents in accordance to established unit and/or hospital procedures.
- Collaborates with patients, significant others, physicians and other ancillary departments to become a multidisciplinary healthcare team whose goal is to provide care that is continuous and well coordinated.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required)
* Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
* Vocational / Technical Degree (Preferred) Certification / Licensure / Registration
* BLS Certification (Required)
* EEG Certification (Preferred
