What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiographer Supplemental position at University of Maryland Medical System?
As a Radiographer, you will:
- Conduct a variety of radiographic examinations for use by a physician in the diagnosis and treatment of patient conditions.
- Obtain patient history, explains procedures, and addresses patient concerns.
- Commit to learning, supporting and sustaining a system of high reliability (HRO) principles and safety
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients, family members, visitors, physicians, fellow team members and/or vendor/business associates at any UM Capital facility.

Located in Largo in the heart of Prince George’s County, our new state-of-the-art regional medical center (UM Capital Region Medical Center) will provide improved access to primary and ambulatory care services, and serve as a tertiary care center for critically ill patients. In addition, our new space will allow us to expand our offerings as a community partner to help improve the health status of Prince George’s County residents.
What you need to be successful:
- Requires ARRT Radiography registration and Maryland State License as a Radiologic Technologist.
- BLS required.
