What You Will Do:
JOB SUMMARY: This role performs a variety of specialized invasive cardiovascular diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures that assist in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
What You Need to Be Successful:
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Education & Training: Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology – Invasive Technologist A.A.S. Degree Program is required. Must hold the national certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS). BLS required. ACLS required within 90 days. Work Orientation & Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in Cardiovascular Invasive Imaging in a hospital setting preferred, but not required. Skills & Abilities: Visual and hearing abilities sufficient for observing and interpreting technical information provided by a variety of equipment displays, graphic and written sources; sufficient for receiving and understanding job-related verbal, technical and medical instructions in a busy invasive cardiovascular environment. Must possess the ability to steadily perform procedures in the presence of critically ill patients, highly anxious family members, multiple physician requests, and changing supervisory requirements necessary to serve the patients. Ability to perform diversified duties with time limitations and a high degree of accuracy. We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
