Recruit, select and provide services to a caseload of 265 middle school and high school students at Manchester Memorial Central and West High Schools and Southside, Parkside and Hillside Middle Schools, in Manchester, NH. This position is 75% time, working September-May, and eligible for full benefits. This position will work primarily in the schools and will connect regularly with UNH Cooperative Extension Talent Search Team.

The academic skills teacher/specialist will provide participants with educational, career, financial literacy and financial aid information to promote persistence, graduation from high school and enrollment and graduation from college. Submit supporting data and reports. Interact with school and community professionals.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's and 3-5 years of related experience. Preferred qualifications include, masters degree, preferably in Education, Counseling or Human Services and two years experience working with middle school and high school students or Bachelors degree and four years of related experience. Experience in using a variety of computer applications. Attention to detail.
