Position Summary | The UNM-Valencia Campus is seeking candidatesfor temporary, part-time faculty to teach 1000and 2000 level music courses. This will be a recruitment for Fall2024 semester. Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia County, TheUniversity of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of TheUniversity of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the regionand is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis onteaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs,technical programs, Adult Education, and Dual Credit courses to high schools inValencia and Socorro Counties. The faculty and staff serve a student bodyof over 2,000 students per semester. UNM has earned the platinum-level distinction from FamilyFriendlyNM.org forits workplace policies.
