Department PPMO Special Projects Job Summary Job Description Assists with managing projects that are assigned to the project management team to ensure that they are completed in accordance with the LDH Project Management Lifecycle. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Assists in the development of policies and procedures pertaining to the LDH project management lifecycle. Works with LDH project leaders to become familiar with the Department's business processes and to identify, document and coordinate project tasks and timelines. Assists with the review of deliverables prepared by the project team before passing them on to the client. Assists with managing project schedules and may lead meetings for assigned projects. Develop recruitment plans, selection, training, supervision, and professional development of assigned staff and new hires. Conducts an annual performance evaluation for each subordinate, setting future goals and strategies. Assists with the development of long and short range plans for staff organization. Assists with the development of standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient and effective division operations. Other tasks as directed . Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Minimum three years of professional experience managing projects. Experience with any project management software applications. Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills. Great attention to detail and follow up, and verbal/written communications skills. Desired Qualifications: Advanced degree. Minimum four years of professional experience managing projects. Minimum one year of supervisory experience. Minimum one year of professional experience with Medicaid eligibility or Medicaid program support. Relevant industry related certifications such as CAPM, PMP, PgMP, PMl‐ACP, PMl‐RMP, PMl‐SP, OPM3.
