The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of hematopathology, molecular pathology interpretation and integration related to bone marrow and lymphoid diseases. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. American Board of Pathology Certification in AP or CP and Hematopathology.
Teaching responsibilities may include the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as formal lecture opportunities within the department.
Clinical responsibilities may include diagnostic interpretation of all aspects of Hematopathology including bone marrows, lymph nodes, tissues, peripheral blood smears, body fluids and flow cytometry.
