Job Description

The Visitor Services Representative will work part-time at the Museum's welcome desks, processing admissions to the Museum, and will be responsible for ensuring that Museum guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience during their visit. The Visitor Services Representative will see that all Museum visitors experience high levels of customer service and encounter a welcoming and helpful atmosphere. The Visitor Services Representative will act as a "concierge", answering questions, using the ticketing system to process admission and membership sales, and will provide assistance to visitors as needed, and will recognize and anticipate their needs, wants and expectations.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a high school diploma. Prior customer service skills in a cultural environment are desired but not required. Very strong interpersonal skills and oral communication skills are essential. The ability to provide exceptional customer service is critical to the position. This person must be able to work flexible schedules, and evening and weekend work may be required.
