GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Product Manager will be responsible for supporting marketing leadership for a variety of product categories. Areas of focus will be product development and project management, along with supporting day-to-day oversight of category management that drives product volume and profitability objectives. Works with internal departments (NPD, Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory) with product management and general marketing responsibilities to support product life cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, analyze and articulate category trend information, market share data including Nielsen and IRI data
- Category consumer research leader ensuring the Voice of Customer (VOC) is maintained as the product focus
- Develop/articulate consumer trends critical to the business decision making process
- Establishes new product development criteria, marketing plans, and feasibility submissions for multi-dept review
- Drives the achievement of individual product and category growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit, and ROI
- Provides project management from ideation to launch via multi-dept processes
- Manages product category lifecycles and product portfolios with the guidance of the Sr. Director of Marketing
- Supports Sales with product information for customer line reviews
- Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required, with an emphasis in Marketing preferred. 3-5 years of consumer-packaged goods manufacturing experience with at least 3 years marketing experience in brand and/or private label or medical devices. Experience with a large consumer packaged goods corporation ideal.
