Purpose

To help with daily accounting and other administrative functions in the UT Law CLE office.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry in Excel, QuickBooks and other applications as needed Work with Finance, Events, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to provide administrative help in daily tasks. Assist with minor administrative tasks around the office Use Law School payment systems as needed.

  • Exhibit a professional demeanor, positive and positive attitude, and be proactive with colleagues and supervisors to make them aware of problems and suggest solutions. Remains focused, productive, calm, and polite under pressure; recognizes the critical role of teamwork and team-based solutions; develops situational awareness of how work product is used by others. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and one year of experience at the Administrative Assistant level, or high school graduation or GED, and five years of clerical experience. Proven ability to work efficiently, accurately, and productively on multiple, concurrent projects under deadline in a professional manner. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; excellent organizational, interpersonal, writing, and speaking abilities. Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of QuickBooks Experience in Define and other UT systems Ability to complete complex administrative tasks quickly and accurately. Strong understanding of database, networking, video, and web software. Understanding of financial software, custom or commercial.

Hourly Rate

$22.50 depending on qualifications

Working Conditions

  • Attire: Business Casual

  • Casual office attire on most days but business casual may be needed on certain occasions.

Work Shift

  • Hours per week - 20

  • The work schedule is from 8 to 5

  • M,W,F to start flexible on hours between 8-5 each day and between 20-24 each week.
