The University of Texas Permian Basin’s Admissions Office welcomes applications for the position of Director of Online Program Enrollment.
REPORTS TO: Vice President for Enrollment Management
SALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $80,000 Depending upon qualifications.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Director of Online Program Enrollment manages all aspects of the student enrollment cycle from recruitment through graduation for UTPB students enrolled in online programs
SPECIFIC TASKS AND DUTIES:
1. Serve as the primary professional at UTPB for online programs in initiating and leading the following: driving strategy, developing academic programs, coordinating marketing and promotional campaigns, leading process and system updates across campus offices, reporting data, and all other aspects of the student enrollment experience.
2. Direct the work across office and divisions of the staff at UTPB specifically designated for and committed to online student service, specifically in marketing, admissions (undergraduate and graduate), FalconOnline, financial aid, IT, advisement, retention, academic programming, etc.
3. Manage all aspects of the UTPB relationship with its Online Program Manager (Apollidon), serving as the chief liaison between UTPB (and the Division of Enrollment Management) and Apollidon staff.
4. Regular collect and analyze data on online students to understand performance gaps and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
5. Lead strategic thinking to grow enrollment in online programs.
6. Coordinate student enrollment with academic programming in close collaboration with Deans, the Provost, and the Chief Online Learning Officer.
7. Create regular reports for campus leadership to understand online student enrollment trends.
8. Manage other third-party enterprises, products, relationships, and vendors serving online students (i.e., Slate, ApplyTexas, Canvas, etc.).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s Degree.
2. Six years of experience working with student services.
3. Possesses organizational and analytical abilities, solid communication skills, computer competency, ability to handle multiple tasks and belief in the value of a higher education and the capacity to articulate those benefits to the public.
4. Ability to interact effectively as a leader and a member of a team.
5. Ability to listen to understand and respond positively to staff requests.
6. The ability to successfully complete a criminal background check.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference given to experience in online student enrollment, recruitment and admissions, student advisement, retention, and enrollment management.
