Job Description:

This position requires conducting research related to development of next generation Ni, and Fe based Materials for Additive Manufacturing process that exhibits unique properties such as Super elasticity, or extreme temperature resistance

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Material Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Background and experience in Alloy design, CALPHAD tools and ICME.
  • Experience with Additive Manufacturing Processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office are required.
  • Excellent problem solving are required.
  • Team player and roll up sleeve attitude.
  • Must have the ability to, as well as meet the requirements to complete and maintain mandatory training per the University mandatory training policy pursuant to the deadlines set forth therein.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in materials engineering is a plus.
