IT Infrastructure Manager – FULL TIME – Charlottesville, VA
SUMMARY:
This position provides local and wide area network support, maintains network equipment and software, and provides end user support for network-related issues. This position will also assist in the management and development of the technical infrastructure at the credit union and with integrating multiple platforms. This position is also responsible for implementing security, redundancy, and recovery policies and procedures and assisting with the development of these policies. This position will serve as the leader of the IT Infrastructure team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
· Maintain network communications over local or wide area networks
· Manage and lead the IT Infrastructure team
· Integrate new systems or technologies into infrastructure
· Implement and assist with the development of system security policies and procedures
· Manage the application of system upgrades and patches
· Manage inventory tracking of corporate hardware and software
· Provide end-user support including the set up of new users, devices, and shared services
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 1-3 years of similar or related experience, experience in a financial institution is preferred
· A two-year college degree in computer science or related field, additional experience and/or job-specific certifications may be considered in lieu of degree
· Extensive knowledge of computer networking, hardware and software compatibility, and computer security
· Outstanding analytical, communication, and leadership skills
