The Office of Learning & Talent Development (LTD) provides hundreds of high-quality professional development and learning events to UW-Madison's workforce of over 22,000 employees. What We Are Looking For
LTD is looking for a learning technology manager who will be responsible for the development and supervision of a portfolio of instructional design projects, as well as a staff of professional instructional designers; in this role, you will also provide support for technologies used to create learning modules for employees. You will work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the institution and with the LTD team to deliver high-quality, meaningful learning that meets organizational needs. In addition to experience with learning technologies, we seek someone with project management experience capable of coordinating multiple projects and staff for on-time completion of learning programs that meet the needs of all our employees, who work onsite, remotely, and in a hybrid format. More importantly, we seek an individual who is eager to learn and innovate, particularly in exploring new and engaging ways to meet the dynamic needs of a modern workforce at a world-class university.

Required
Bachelor's Degree
Required:
A. Experience with project management strategies and overall coordination of project teams to meet project goals and deadlines
B. Experience using eLearning design technologies (examples are, but not limited to, Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate) to develop online courses and learning content guided by instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, etc.) and adult learning theories (Knowles, Kolb, Dewey, Kirkpatrick, etc.)
C. Experience providing instructional design and/or technology services and support directly to faculty, staff, or other customers
Preferred:
D. Master's degree in education, instructional technology, or related field
E. Knowledge of project coordination strategies with an emphasis on group facilitation, problem-solving and root cause analysis
F. Strong analytic and decision-making abilities
G. Strong problem-solving abilities
H. Skilled in collaborating with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and colleagues
I. Proficiency in presentation software and virtual facilitation tools (e.g., MS Office Suite, Zoom, WebEx, MS Teams)
