Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions in the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education for the academic year 2022-2023. These positions are on an as needed basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate literacy methods courses
- Collaborating with literacy faculty
- Teaching and working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community
- Student teaching/clinical supervision
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
An earned Master’s or Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Literacy or Reading Education, or related field with at least 18 hours of relevant literacy or reading graduate semester hours, is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a K – 5 classroom teacher
- University teaching experience
