Statesboro
Electrical and Computer Engineering
The Student Assistant supports the Electrical and Computer Engineering department as a Research Assistant beginning Fall 2022. The project focus is on vehicular communications for applications related to intelligent transportation system and autonomous driving. The Research Assistant should be ready to contribute to the submission of at least one IEEE journal paper and collection of preliminary data for the group’s research proposals starting Fall 2022. Therefore, in addition to solid knowledge in the field of wireless communications and networks, the ideal candidate should also have a familiarity of the process of submitting an academic paper.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Georgia Southern University is a tobacco and smoke-free community. All faculty, staff, and students must adhere to the established University System of Georgia policy.
