Position: Job Coach
Location: El Cajon
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Provide 100% supervision and training to program participants;
· Monitor and be responsible for quality control at worksites;
· Ensure the safety and welfare of participants and report any accidents, incidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate person(s);
· Report any witnessed, suspected, or reported consumer abuse or neglect under the mandated reporter requirements;
· Ensure implementation of Consumer’s Personal Rights;
· Participate in team planning and regular, on-going review of participants progress;
· Maintain a good working relationship with supervisors, customers and employees at the worksite; and
· Other functions as assigned to ensure the agency standards, practices, policies and procedures are met.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
· Travel by foot, van, car, or other form of transportation on a daily basis;
· Implement disaster and emergency plans;
· Develop and implement practical Individual Program Plans;
· Instruct, plan, and motivate program participants;
· Assist in the development of the Individual Habitation components
· Maintain data collection and progress reports of each participant’s trainings;
· Plan job needs and request appropriate supplies;
· Responsible for basic equipment service, cleanliness, and safety procedures on a daily basis; and
· Other duties as assigned to ensure the agency standards, practices, policies and procedures are met.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

REQUIREMENTS:
· Proof of legal status to work in the United States will be required at time of hire;
· Proof of current COVID-19 vaccination(s) and updated as required;
· Possess a valid California Driver’s License at hire and throughout term of employment (employment and contingent employment upon successful DMV report and Unyeway’s insurance company approval);
· Must be able to perform and be certified in CPR and First Aid throughout term of employment;
· Must be able to obtain favorable results of pre-employment fingerprint and drug screen clearance as well as any additional clearances required by the individual worksite(s); and
· Must be able to conform to applicable laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to Title 17 and Title 22 of the state of California.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 27.5 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
