For businesses, we provide regulated infrastructure to connect cryptocurrencies with fiat currencies. Today, we support over 200 digital assets, 28 national currencies and four precious metals. Our unique trading experience allows customers to trade directly between any supported asset or currency in one  step - physical gold to Bitcoin, for example - saving both time and money. 

We support financial inclusion by enabling customers virtually anywhere to open an account in less than 5 minutes and to invest with no minimum amounts. Customers can send money to virtually anyone with an  email address free of charge. 

What We Do:

Our reserve trades cryptocurrencies across centralized exchanges (CeFi) and decentralized exchanges (DeFi). Our team has a background in high-frequency, quantitative trading and we create trading strategies that leverage automation. 

We develop and support the pricing of cryptocurrencies to both retail and institutional customers. We own the hedging and inventory management processes to maximise risk adjusted revenue for the business.

How We Do It:

We use a variety of technologies: C for areas that require high performance, NodeJS for specific integrations, Python for analysis, and Go for general solutions. In addition, we utilize  (My|Postgre) SQL, Redis, bash, Linux, etc.  Generally, we try to use whatever tool is best for the job, without letting the stack grow too complicated.

Requirements:

We require a quant trader to help maintain, evolve and develop our trading strategies. 

• Have at least five years experience working as a quant trader for a market maker or HFT
• Experience with trading systems and large complex codebases
• Experience resolving live trade issues by identifying the problem and taking the appropriate steps such as amending system parameters
• Professional experience with Python and ideally at least one of our core languages: C or Go
• Genuine and demonstrable interest in the cryptocurrency space and knowledge of CeFi venues, DeFi protocols and broader narratives
• Effective communication skills; a positive, team player
• Experience using Git in production environments
• Comfort taking ownership of projects such as new opportunities for the desk, leading new product rollouts, and participation in discussions with senior management
• Ability to be highly effective in remote-first environment

Bonus if you have: 

• Working knowledge of C
• MySQL or Postgres
• Makefiles and bash scripting
