Job Description

As a Warehouse Lead you will provide frontline support to a team of Warehouse Fulfillment Associates while meeting our same-day shipping commitments in a busy e-commerce warehouse environment. You will train new associates, distribute work assignments for the day, help ensure quality standards are met, resolve day-to-day issues as they arise, and provide feedback to management regarding associate performance.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of warehouse experience
• Forklift certified or able to become forklift certified 
• Comfortable with giving directions to others
• Proficiency with computers and familiarity with Google Workplace (G-Suite) or Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Some college or college degree
• 2 years of warehouse experience in an e-commerce environment
• Capable of meeting deadlines for and managing multiple projects
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Positive attitude with self-motivated drive

What You’ll Do 

• Assist in prioritizing and directing receiving, picking, shipping and freight loading activities performed by the warehouse team
• Assist warehouse management team with maintenance of policies and procedures
• Maintain a high degree of visibility and access to employees on the warehouse floor throughout the shift
• Lead by example, train, and motivate peer associates
• Collaborate with representatives from other departments to resolve issues
• Communicate team schedules as needed to meet the demands of the business
• Escalate personnel issues and requests to management as appropriate
• Perform administrative tasks as necessary
• Maintain a working knowledge of all warehouse operations
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Position Details

• Compensation: $19 /hr.
• Type: Full-time
• Employee Status: Regular
• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week (Overtime Available)
• Location: Austin, Texas
