Full-Time Hotel Valet Attendant

UPP Global is a growing, full-service parking management company with expertise in all verticals of parking. We are active in 8 states along the Eastern Seaboard with over 300 locations! Currently we have a need to add a full-time valet attendant to our team at a premier Hotel location in Burlington, VT.

Position Quick Facts:

• Ideal Candidates will be available to work Daytimes, Evenings and Nights and the flexibility to work these shifts on both weekdays and weekends.
• Earn $18 - $25 /hr. (Combination of base hourly wage and CASH TIPS!)
• Well-suited Candidates will have a polished hospitality manner; present a clean, groomed appearance, and possess 1 year preferred experience in the parking industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in an attentive, at-your-service readiness.
• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
• Provide exceptional hospitality services to all guests in an confident, friendly, and efficient manner
• Be responsible for parking and retrieving guests vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner
• Assist guests with bell service, directions, taxis, reservations, information about meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility and other inquiries as needed
• Assist guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage during arrival and departure
• Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, running, driving and being active for most of the day
• Must provide excellent customer service, always going above the call of duty.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination, as driving is required for a duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds
• Must possess a current drivers’ license and maintain a clean driving record
• Must have a good work ethic and be a team player
• Must maintained and groomed, professional appearance
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR) check
