What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parking Enforcement Agent position at UPP Global?
UPP Global is a growing full-service parking management company with expertise in all verticals of parking. We are active in 8 states along the Eastern Seaboard with over 300 locations and counting. Currently we are looking for Parking Enforcement Agent to patrol dozens of parking lots in the Portland, ME downtown area and Cape Elizabeth.
- The ideal candidate will be independent, responsible, punctual, and detail oriented.
- Earn an average range of $17.50 - $25/hr (this is a combination of $17.50/hr base rate and citation bonus pay!)
- Full Time (30 hours)
- Shift availability Includes 9:00am-5:00pm and 12:00pm-8:00pm.
- Weekends availability is a must
- Candidates must possess a valid license and able to undergo a motor vehicle background check.
- Some technical proficiency is required, as a parking management system utilizes hand held mobile devices, computerized tracking, and data entry/reporting.
- This is an outdoor position, appropriate weather gear provided. We work rain or shine!
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
- Patrol and monitor each lot to ensure that only authorized vehicles are parked
- Enforcing lots by issuing citations based on our preapproved guidelines to any non-paid or time-expired parkers
- Manage lot signage, for example: taking down, repairing, and assembling signs
- Maintain lot cleanliness by picking up trash, cleaning signage, and other general lot maintenance
- Trouble shoot parking meters/equipment when applicable
- Must be proficient with mobile applications and hand-held devices
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, running, driving and being active for most of the day
- Must have a clean, professional appearance at all times and strictly adhere to the company’s personal appearance and uniform policies
- Must be at least 18 years of age willing to undergo a criminal background check.
- Must have a good work ethic and be a team player. Possess strong customer service and communication skills
