Job Description:
The Lead Video Producer for this rapidly growing YouTube channel will spearhead the charge in taking creative ideas from concept to completion, executing the company vision with each video, always striving to deliver the audience a better product every upload. They will be responsible for ensuring each person on their team has the tools to successfully create innovative content that meets company standards, and will mentor them as they grow into their roles. The Lead Video Producer will work directly with the content creator, and the production and creative teams to make exciting content for millions of people to enjoy!
The ideal candidate spends a lot of time consuming content on various digital platforms, and has a deep understanding of the YouTube creator landscape. They should thrive in a fast paced environment while being organized and keeping in constant communication with all departments. This person takes pride in their professional abilities and is excited to guide the production team to success. They will use their previous knowledge and expertise to help level up the channels' workflows and processes, and bring a positive attitude to its collaborative work culture.

What You'll Do:
- Work with content creator and department heads to manage shoot logistics for current and future videos
- Actively turn seemingly impossible creative ideas into a reality
- Manage production budgets and ensure proper financial tracking
- Manage production logistics for branded content, not limited to integrated shout outs and fully customized videos
- Have the foresight to plan and execute future productions effectively
- Work with the team to create and manage realistic production schedules
- Manage all production timelines to adequately handle programming needs
- Manage and assign production tasks to junior members of the production team
- Hire freelance production staff when needed to handle bigger shoots
- Actively look for ways to execute on high level goals while maintaining efficient day-to-day workflow
- Clearly communicate production logistics with all relevant departments on a daily basis
- Manage and mentor Production Team and capitalize on teachable moments
- Lead ongoing pre-production meetings with the team to make sure everyone has what they need to be successful
- At times Direct the content when on set or location
- Keep shoots on schedule by helping manage on set workflow
- Lead cross-departmental problem solving conversations
- At times travel out of the state or country for shoots
- All other duties assigned
Preferred Skills:
- Google Suite
- Budget tracking and actualizing
- Proficiency with project Management Software like Monday.com
- Expert level understanding of production processes
- Great Communication Skills
- Understanding of YouTube Studio and platform analytics
- Must be detail oriented and organized
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
