Job Description:

The Junior SharePoint Administrator plays a key role in the implementation and support of the company intranet, a vital system to the internal function of the company. Masterful customer service and time management skills are necessary to the success of the position. The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies will be necessary as the portal is hosted in O365 and constantly changing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build custom business solutions, using O365 technologies, for a wide variety of clients (HR, Manufacturing, R&D, Finance, etc.), each with unique business requirements.
• Configure and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists, site collections, media repositories, flows, forms and any other SharePoint-related technologies.
• Perform typical SharePoint administrative activities such as site creation, user training, backup, restore and issue resolution
• Occasionally participate with after-hours support
• Collaborate with business systems analysts, development and functional teams to understand and fulfill business requirements
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information

Requirements:

• DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification
• Four years of experience in SharePoint farm administration supporting, an enterprise level SharePoint 2010 and later versions environment.
• Three years of experience with patch testing, deployment, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with DoD and Army security requirements such as IAVA and STIGs
• Two years of experience in SharePoint PowerShell modules to configure and administer SharePoint and to automate tasks
• Four years of experience with Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows Server and the basic operation of websites, Application Pools, IIS Administration, ports, SSL Certificates, and Kerberos
• Three years of experience working as a system administrator maintaining Windows servers and performing tasks such as installing service packs, hot fixes, STIGs, and troubleshooting IP, DNS, load balancing problems.

Schedule:

• Monday -Fri 0800-1600 CT plus limited off-hours

Security Clearance Required:
