- Regular direct one on one meetings with all direct reports as well as Senior Office Coordinators, within their area of supervision to assess clinic needs and performance.
- Meets monthly with Account Managers.
- Ensures that adequate staffing is maintained at each clinic including overseeing recruiting and hiring processes
- Demonstrates flexibility in work schedules to meet staffing needs in the region and may provide direct patient care to meet these needs.
- Accountable for timely completion of monthly Focus 15s, Annual Compliance Trainings, New Hire Trainings for all direct reports.
- Works with Regional Vice President and DOFFOO to determine patient’s eligibility for financial hardship.
- Works with Regional Vice President and Human Resources on all disciplinary actions and decisions that involves violation of company policies, procedures, performance and management directives.
- Performs performance evaluations for direct reports and conducts reviews in a timely manner.
- Works with recruiting teams for recruiting and hiring staff.
- Meet multi-site budget goals.
- Responsible for managing and collaboration with Senior Office Coordinators/Office Coordinators for write offs related to authorizations, credentialing and financial hardships.
- Assist in preparation and review strategic plan for each facility in assigned area and works with each Clinic Director respectively.
- Review monthly financial metrics with direct reports and management team.
- Works with Regional Vice President to develop a workable and realistic budget which meets the financial objectives of the Company.
- Reviews the content of daily, weekly, and monthly operating reports for accuracy and timeliness, noting deficiencies and directing the execution of collective measures.
- Maintains confidentiality, uses discretion in sharing financial or legal information.
- Reviews CDATA reports with Regional Vice Presidents.
- Ensure quality clinical care and outcomes for our patients at the area clinics.
- Attain visit and referral goals for each clinic and the area.
- Coordinate with Clinic Director and Sales Account Manager for proper execution and oversight of marketing plans for each facility in assigned area.
- Attain minimal arrival rate of 85% for each clinic and the area.
- Ensure therapists are productive and clinics are staffed to meet the needs of the clinics’ patient volume.
- MSD schedule needs will reflect clinical and leadership responsibility as defined by the RVP.
- Ensures contact with field operations through weekly visits to clinics interfacing with all staff on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Observes performance on an ongoing basis, providing regular informal feedback on work quality and quantity and conduct.
- In making decisions, considers all alternatives and evaluates all necessary data. Has the ability to balance the company’s and individual clinic’s needs. Recognizes short and long-term impact of decisions.
- Ensures that appropriate clinical protocols and practice patterns are followed
- Ensures that appropriate treatment goals and patient plans are create.
- Administers appropriate treatment and assesses patient response individually and through professional staff located within each location under their supervision.
- Holds clinical team accountable to completion standards of 24-48 hours.
- Progress notes are completed accurately, and promptly.
- Visits are recorded accurately and according to policy on the daily schedule billing is completed accurately and timely.
- Periodic clinic documentation reviews will be performed with a summary report.
- Hold clinical team accountable for quarterly peer chart audits.
- Coordinate with Account Managers and Athletic Trainers (where applicable) to market area physicians, case managers, adjusters, attorneys, etc.
- Assist and review marketing plans and strategies for each facility in assigned area, working directly with Account Managers and plan for proper execution and oversight of set goals.
- Hold Clinic Director’s accountable for both internal and external marketing activities.
- Assures that development and expansion of all clinical services are marketed in a timely fashion and in a manner established in the best interest of the company, focusing on direct continuous marketing to referring doctors.
- Implement and support the use of the CARE program initiatives.
- Attends physician lunches, medical director meetings, and other marketing functions, whenever possible, in support of the company’s effort to develop relationships with the physician community.
- Initiate and/or assist with regional and company-wide team building programs.
- Foster the development of strong working relationships between all disciplines within the multi-site clinics.
- Appropriately and routinely communicate with Regional Vice President on changes, challenges and successes throughout the area of responsibility.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding information on patients, associates, and clinic matters.
- Complies with clinic’s clinical/administrative policies and compliances plan policies.
- Displays professional attitude and ethics consistent with Professional Code of Ethics and Company Code of Conduct.
- Seeks professional self-development activities to update clinical skills and management abilities. (This includes participation in all mandatory in-service.)
- Displays professional work habits, punctuality, organization and neat appearance.
- Facilitates and promotes community activities to promote the services of each clinic in the region utilizing and supporting “Pillars For Purpose”.
- Coordinate with the Senior Office Coordinators to ensure appropriate and timely communication and training for clinic Office Coordinators.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing staff activities to maximize the region’s performance through referral from both physician offices and industry.
- Communicates relevant information on current issues, and other pertinent information to the Regional Vice President, Vice President of Operations, or other members of the corporate team.
- Work with Regional Vice President to assess growth and development opportunities for new clinics.

- Assist the Regional Vice President in investigating all area potential business opportunities.
- Work directly with the Human Resources department for proper execution and oversight of Human Resources-related issues in the assigned area as needed.
- Ensure appropriate hiring, staffing and coverage including payroll responsibilities.
- Coach, mentor, counsel, and conduct performance reviews with supervising staff.
- Lead/participate in regular clinic, area and company-level meetings.

JOB SUMMARY:
This position leads/oversees a group of clinics within a specified area of the company and is responsible for working together with Clinic Directors in assigned area to achieve company goals for census and operational metrics. Provides regular communication to area clinics and to Regional Vice President. Responsible for ensuring quality clinical care in area assigned, identifying and overseeing new Denovo clinics, and accountable for all clinical operational and financial performance. Assists with growth and development of new business opportunities including specialty programs and workers’ compensation program. Works closely with the Senior Office Coordinators, Regional Assistants, and Sales Account Manager to ensure operational congruency. This position is vitally responsible for supporting the mission, vision and values of Upstream Rehabilitation.

- Graduate of an accredited physical therapist (DPT accredited program preferred) or occupational therapist.
- Demonstrated effective operational leadership and performance as a Clinic Director.
- Requires current licensure or license-eligible in state where assigned.
- Attention to detail; ability to effectively communicate and influence others within the business office, at the clinics, and with outside contacts (patients, vendors, physicians, etc.); ability to examine processes, policies, and problems and offer solutions; have an overall positive and supportive attitude of yourself, your team members, and the company; ability to work in a team environment.
- Certifications may be preferred based on the assigned clinic service array.
- Preferred completion of Leadership Development Program.
