The RoleAs a Project Manager at Uqora you'll be responsible for coordinating and managing projects for Uqora and our sister brand, Equelle, working closely with cross-functional teams, and driving projects from conception to launch. You will need to be highly organized, adaptable, and passionate about project management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, enjoys variety, and is eager to contribute to process improvements.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate NPI projects within the innovation pipeline, as well as projects related to marketing and operations initiatives.Leverage strong communication skills to lead project teams through challenges and work with key stakeholders (higher, peer, lower in the organizational structure) via influencing and negotiating.Accountable for developing and monitoring detailed project plans and critical milestones with defined timelines, dependencies, owner of activities and resource requirements in coordination with key stakeholders.Drive deadlines, keeping projects on task, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Proactively manage project risks, anticipate potential issues, and develop contingency plans when needed.Contribute to building the project management process, suggesting improvements, and helping to create standard operating procedures.Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.Work within the Operations Department, where you will have a voice in shaping the way projects are managed and executed.Have a deep understanding of the organization's operational processes, innovation, and priorities in order to ask the right questions, see obstacles, and know the activities needed for a successful project plan.Take ownership of the projects you manage, ensuring they meet quality standards and are completed on time.
QualificationsRequired3-5 years of experience in project managementAble to manage a variety of project types simultaneouslyAbility to drive several full-scale projects simultaneously from kick-off to completionExcellent organizational skills, with a focus on process and problem-solving.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across different departments.Certification in project management.Strong Leadership Skills - Hands-on experience managing cross-functional teams in a range of projectsExcellent collaborator. Has core strength in being able to successfully project manage a cross-functional set of resources to achieve shared goalsAdvanced proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, Slack and Project Management tools.PreferredProficiency in Agile methodologies or Six Sigma is a plus.Experience within a start-up environment and ideally a background in the CPG industry.Asana experience is preferred.Additional RequirementsFlexible hybrid work environment, with in-office presence at our La Jolla, CA office required on Wed-Thurs.Strong interest in women's health and a belief in Equelle's mission.Ability to manage multiple tasks, switch gears quickly, and work autonomously.If you're passionate about project management and looking to grow within this field, we'd love to hear from you.
