Overview and Summary

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Solution Consultant will be responsible for supporting the product lifecycle and carrying out product roadmaps for key products and accounts and assisting with new product development and integrations within our MediaPerformance solution area. This includes acting as a key liaison with engineering teams, participating in scrum ceremonies, and collaborating with external partners and internal stakeholders in support of solution activation and in support of business development efforts.

Leaders work with their teams to determine the right balance for working in-person and remotely, considering the needs of the business, our clients, cross-functional projects, individual work, and individual preference.  This role is open for remote work. However, a remote candidate must be available to travel in person to our Detroit, MI office for an initial onboarding period and then quarterly for purposeful on-site meetings thereafter.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of the product roadmap, new product development, and integrations as prioritized by solution management:
    • Be accountable for specific product(s) and client integration(s)
    • Documenting product and data workflows.
    • Research of new partner platform integrations.
    • Input PBIs and attend scrum ceremonies.
    • Collaborate with development teams to carry out vision.
    • Review products to identify improvements, asses consumer centric design enhancements, and include selected enhancements in product backlog.
    • Perform routine QA/QC checks and be responsible for health and quality of the products under your management
    • Research competition or innovations in the marketplace to iterate new features or enhancements
    • Perform analyses of client data and results to provide product and strategy support
    • Document use cases and create case studies to support business development efforts.
    • Provide regular progress updates to solution management.
  • Assist solution management team with support functions, including
    • Partner with subcontractors, platform demand and delivery teams, and internal stakeholders, to coordinate critical cross-functional tasks in support of solution development and activation.
    • Creating proposals, SOWs, set-up, sustainment and best practices.
    • Creating sales collateral in support of product positioning, FAQs,
    • WSJF and quarterly brief material gathering, requirements gathering, and presentation material creations
  • Act as liaison to internal Central Services Team to execute audience campaigns and measurement as necessary:
    • Support client set-up and activations
    • Act as first point of escalation and collaborate with development teams to investigate and address underlying system or data issues.
    • Ensure all active solutions are healthy and operating as expected.
  • Gain exposure to product research, vision creation, concept design and roadmap prioritization.
  • Proactively communicate with management to provide updates and report issues in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain strong and effective internal relationships to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams and offices.
  • Work with manager in completing own annual goal setting and performance review in a timely manner.
  • Work with manager to prioritize other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • University degree required
  • 1-3 years of related work experience, internships, or capstone projects
  • Experience with data analysis; knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Powerpoint, and Excel; market research skills; ability to prototype new ideas; basic knowledge of coding, data structures and algorithms; and an understanding of key marketing concepts like branding, positioning, and user experience
  • Looking for a curious mind that is a natural critical thinker, and can communicate their ideas effectively including presentations; able to size up priorities and meet time-sensitive objectives; emotional intelligence, especially when working in collaborative environments
  • Experience supporting the product lifecycle and carrying out product roadmaps is a plus
