URBN Wholesale Routing Coordinator (Mon - Fri 8am-5pm)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Efficiently works within a busy dispatch department
• Accurately updates spreadsheets
• Creates BOLs, Manifests and handles shipping information
• Keeps organized shipping records
• Troubleshoots shipping issues that pop up regularly; works to solve these administrative or organizational problems to increase warehouse and dispatch efficiency
• Develops knowledge about freight and hazmat shipping regulations and practices
• Works well with unloading team to complete cross dock procedures on time
• Monitor and address carton flow issues in relation to cross dock
• Accurately research misdirected cartons on the cross dock
• Ensure safety standards are followed by all
• Must be able to work overtime as required
• All other duties assigned by supervisor/ or Manager

Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:

• Leadership: Proven ability to communicate with, support, and motivate employees to achieve operational objectives
• Excellent verbal /written communication skills
• Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a team environment
• Analytical, ability to track, record and report department production
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Sterling (OMS), Manhattan Associates WMS or equivalent warehouse management systems
• Familiar with Kronos time management systems
• Able to work with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements:

• Stand / walk for an extended time period
• Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 55 pounds
• Operate warehouse equipment as required for position (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movements
