What are the responsibilities and job description for the URBN Inspections Specialist position at URBN?
Candidate should be a motivated team player with a positive attitude and possess good organizational and communication

new and diverse assignments. Candidate must be able to work with all organizational levels including fellow-employees,
customers and management. The Inspections Specialist ensures company and customer quality standards are being
achieved. Have analytical skills to conclude audit findings. This individual primary duty is to perform a 100% reinspection
of all garments that were failed for stains daily. You will be responsible for identifying if apparel is market-acceptable for
rental, sent to thrift, collaboration, or sent back for stain removal. Also, you will be responsible for auditing garments that
have passed and waiting to be put away. You will ensure that any merchandise sitting in pending put away is of first quality
or market acceptance. You will communicate all results of reinspection and audit checks back to Inbound leadership.
Reports to: Inspections Supervisor
Shift: Sunday - Wednesday 6:00am - 4:30pm
Wednesday - Saturday 6:00am - 4:30pm
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Performs final audit inspections following company standards
• Follows Nuuly’s 16 points quality inspection guidelines
• Thoroughly inspects, identifies & flags defects on garments
• Maintain/exceed quality/productivity standards set by the department
• Maintain a positive attitude and flexibility
• Verbal and written communications
• Uses scanning devices
• Perform other warehouse functions as needed
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Interacts with others in a respectful manner that fosters a culture of teamwork
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• All other duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager
• Assists with training of incoming personnel and ensure compliance with departmental procedures
Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:
• Understanding the essential quality and construction of apparel (stitching techniques, measurements, etc.)
• Ability to assess product as 1st quality using set criteria and range of tolerances
• Experience in garment inspection a plus
• Strong visual inspection skills
• Ability to effectively and consistently see color to discern hue and shade variations
• Ability to use good judgment with problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Works well under pressure and time constraints
• Dependable works with a sense of urgency (makes it happen)
• Commits to results and maintains commitment regardless of obstacles and frustrations
• Excellent attendance and punctuality a must
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) a plus
Physical Requirements:
• Stand/walk for an extended time period
• Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds
• Operate warehouse equipment as required for the position (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires
coordinated movements
