Qualitest is seeking a US Accounting Manager to join our growing team for a remote position in US.
Job Overview: Qualitest is a global software testing and engineering consultant company. We are looking for a qualified candidate to assist with running the finance operations of our US division. This role will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller with running the end-to-end local finance function and will be an important point of contact for local operations business partners and global finance management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records;
Provide support for financial analysis and reporting;
Work hand in hand with global shared service team to ensure accurate general ledger postings;
Manage relationships with vendors, customers, and other stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions;
Assist with process transformation initiatives;
Provide analyses to local operations/delivery team;
Assist with all local tax and regulatory reporting;
Support internal and external audits;
Cultivate working relationships with other local departments;
Take ownership of various ad hoc projects;
Comfortable contributing to presentations to management;
Identify areas for operational improvements;
