Ideal candidate will live near a major metropolitan airport. JLL’s Public Institutions Education team delivers quality Integrated Facilities Management across a portfolio of elementary, middle school, secondary school and postsecondary education accounts nationally. The Regional Account Director’s responsibility is to ensure Account Managers’ meet or exceed deliverables as outlined in our contracts. This includes operational up time, cost savings initiatives, energy consumption reduction initiatives, service improvements and introduction of best practices and innovations. They are responsible for organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks, continually and consistently making fact and financial-based business decisions and developing and effectively managing client relationships. These client relationships require less frequent interaction than their on-site Account Manager reports, but are key to JLL’s success in supporting our clients. Internal responsibilities include financial reporting and coordination with management and multiple teams across the Work Dynamics Business. Responsibilities Independently direct a portfolio of educational facilities nationally Become a trusted advisor to clients; prudently manage services, capital requirements and operating budgets Ensure a team culture of safety, customer service, compliance and quality Lead a matrixed team and demonstrate an owner's mentality across technical, soft, and experience services Provide staff oversight, with input on selection, counseling, appraisals and recognition; recommending salary, promotional, disciplinary, termination, and other personnel actions; support diversity initiatives through action Assist Account Directors with development and implementation of annual account plans Understand and deliver on operational budgets; participate and adhere to forecast monthly/quarterly budget targets; prepare detailed budgets for operations; develop accurate regular and ad-hoc reports Engage procurement and products teams to introduce account specific programs that support specific client needs Manage client-facing and internal conflict resolution; identifying or partnering with other divisions to deliver solutions and specialized services Experience BS in Engineering, Facilities Management, Architecture, Construction Management or Business is required Masters in Business/Management preferred 10 years Education Facility Management Personnel Management and Financial Reporting experience Strong leadership and presentation skills Evidenced exceptional client service and focus Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Understanding and application of Association for Higher Education Facilities Officers (APPA) standards preferred Technical understanding of contracts and compliance required Technical knowledge of mechanical, plumbing and electrical building systems, as well as custodial and grounds services required Understanding and application of one or more Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) required Travel Approximately 50% depending on geographic distribution of account and requirements Benefits: Our benefits are a good reason to come to JLL.
