We have an exciting new opportunity at JLL for a Maintenance Technician in Alexandria, VA. In this role, you will support the development and implementation of the preventative maintenance program. What does your day-to-day look like? Perform scheduled facility inspections; complete and turn in inspection checklists, and perform routine and scheduled maintenance Note items on the inspection checklist which require additional follow-up and provide feedback to management regarding needed repairs and special services, etc. Provide feedback to Chief Building Engineer and Facility Manager regarding needed repairs, special services, etc. Read and interpret manuals, constructions drawings, diagrams, and work orders to perform required maintenance and tasks Monitor vendors, review, develop, and monitor the scope of services/specifications for contracted services Assist other Engineers as requested by the Facility Manager and respond to and resolve tenant service requests Performance of ongoing prevent repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and other components. Replace lighting and clean HVAC grills General interior maintenance – hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and repairing doors. Moving office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials Experience and technical skills: Required High School diploma or GED 5 years of commercial building maintenance experience Preferred Journeyman in HVAC Schedule: Monday – Friday Variable schedule with overtime as needed Location: Alexandria, VA Location: On-site –Alexandria, VA If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet all the requirements.
