Position requirements: (Responsibilities)

As a Combat Engineer, you’ll work quickly and skillfully to help Soldiers navigate while on combat missions by constructing bridges, clearing barriers with explosives, and detecting and avoiding mines and other environmental hazards. You'll provide expertise and come up with quick and creative engineering solutions, constructing fighting positions, fixed and floating bridges, and obstacles and defense positions..

JOB DUTIES

• Construct fighting positions, fixed/floating bridges, obstacles and defensive positions Destroying certain obstacles in the way of troops

• Place and detonate explosives

• Conduct operations that include route clearance of obstacles and rivers

• Prepare and install firing systems for demolition and explosives

• Detect mines visually or with mine detectors

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have valid Driver’s License

• Ability to operate and drive vehicles as position requires

• Attend Paid Basic and advanced training

• Complete the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)

-Basic Qualifications: (What employee bring to the table)

• Age - 17 to 34 years old

• Education - Current Senior in High School(HS), HS Diploma, GED or higher

• Citizenship - U.S. Citizen

• Submit to background and medical screening

-Full time soldiers are entitled to the following benefits:
