U. S. Diagnostic is looking for a Professional Ultrasound Tech: demonstrates competency in performing ALL ultrasound exams. Ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients using specialized equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Analyze images and data to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret results
- Maintain patient records and documentation of procedures
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures
Skills:
- Proficient in performing ultrasound scans and using medical imaging equipment
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with various imaging modalities such as CT, mammography, and PET scans
- Ability to accurately interpret and analyze ultrasound images for diagnostic purposes
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
