Job Posting for Parts Warehouse Associate at US Engine Production Inc.
Job Summary:
Pick and pack parts for orders as necessary. Support the inventory process in the warehouse through random audits, cycle counting, physical counts, etc. to ensure accurate and timely records of product inventory, while ensuring compliance to inventory processes and procedures.
Essential Functions:
Pick and pack parts for sales orders, and internal work orders.
Use care and attention when handling all parts and engine components.
Assist with slotting in the warehouse to maintain effective use of space.
Monitor the layout of warehouse to optimize efficiency of distribution and inventory placement.
Communicate pertinent information and issues (i.e., inventory/receiving issues, warehouse out-of-stock inventory, product damage, etc.) to Manager in a timely manner.
Maintain attention to detail under varying circumstances.
Maintain neat, clean, and safe work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Must be able to count inventory and research issues.
Ability to work independently as well as a team environment within a warehouse operation.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must be able to walk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with the hands and arms.
Must frequently sit, walk and stand, and be able to climb stairs/ladders as necessary.
Count all received items and parts, to make sure packing slips and PO numbers match, before putting into inventory.
Pick, count, wrap, package, and weigh parts using scales, before shipping.
While performing the duties of this position, employees are subject to a warehouse environment and frequently exposed to changes in temperature and humidity.
Ability to lift, push, pull and carry weights up to 50 lbs.
