US Farathane is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead at our Jackson, TN facility. This position will assist in all warehouse functions required to ensure accurate inventories, receipts, and shipments to internal and external customers.

We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black-box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPE’s and TPO’s as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist in proper development and implementation of warehouse related training.
- Oversee the activities of the warehouse to effectively support plant operation.
- Participate in team problem solving activities (i.e., 8D’s, shift meetings, etc.).
- Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
- Assure all inventory control procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Coordinate the movement of all materials to and from all outside warehouses.
- Assure all incoming product is received from vendors with correct label information.
- Assure all outgoing finished product is shipped to the customer with the correct requirements.
- Responsible for timely shipping of product to avoid premium freight costs.
- Back-up Customer Service.
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures (ie, Quality Manual, Associate Handbook, etc).
- Accurately operate shipping and receiving equipment including bar code equipment and UPS machine.
- Load trucks with finished goods for customers, verifying shipper with product loaded.
- Unload, receive in, and put away in proper location purchased material after quantity verification and inspection.
- Keep warehouse organized and clean.
- Professional and exceptional communication with internal and external customers.
- Generate shipping documents, export papers as needed.
- Confirm and update shipping documents to comply with customer regulations.
- Perform all other duties as requested by the Materials Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiar with Just-In-Time concepts and inventory control procedures.
- Computer systems knowledge.
- Hi-lo experience.
