ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Washing exterior of tractors, interior of trailers and moving equipment around the truck yard.
- Check oil, wash windows, check tire pressures and maintain proper fluid levels in tractors and T-K units.
- Report service issues to the maintenance shop.
- Keep track of assigned jobs by logging in and out of the ShopFax maintenance system.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training:
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to drive and operate fleet equipment, tractor, trailer, and service vehicles.
- Ability to perform cleaning activities on all fleet equipment.
- Ability to assess trailer/tractor sanitation requirement.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be willing to work an irregular schedule to include any shift, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.
- Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written communications.
- CDL Class A preferred.
Related Experience/Requirements:
- Must have a valid state Driver's License
- Ability to drive and operate Fleet equipment, tractor, trailer and service vehicles.
- Must have the ability to work Sunday - Thursday shift.
Physical Requirements: Remove section if not needed.
· Bending, stooping, and occasional heavy lifting up to 100 lbs.
