Pandemic Telework Program:
Due to COVID-19, the VA is currently in an expanded telework posture. If selected, you may be expected to temporarily telework, even if your home is located outside the local commuting area. Physical Requirements: The work is sedentary. The work involves considerable walking, standing, and bending in searching various files. There is Occasional lifting and carrying of such items as record boxes, claims folders, and shred envelopes. May also involve the operation and maintenance of shred receptacles and/or Shredders.is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. This credited service can be used in determining the rate at which they earn annual leave. Such credit must be requested and approved prior to the appointment date and is not guaranteed.
