The Warehouse Lead position provides support to the operations division including receiving, sorting, and loading freight into the proper location and/or trucks.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
\n- Review the linehauls and routes coming into the warehouse.
- Sort and stage the freight to ensure all deliveries go with the correct drivers.
- Reconcile route sheets to ensure they match paperwork, investigate problems that may arise and address and correct any client service concerns.
- Notify the Operations Manager immediately of all verbal or written inquiries concerning any in-house issues, missing freight, etc. to ensure that contractors are following proper customer procedures to avoid service issues.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds on occasion.
- Ability to use appliance dollies to unload trailers by hand and then arrange and move appliances around the warehouse.
- Warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift Experience or Certification preferred.
- Ability to work overtime if needed.
Shift Days: Monday-Friday
Shift Hours: 3am - 11:30am (Available to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays preferred.)
Pay Rate: $21-$23 per hour
Forklift Experience is Required.
