About the Job:
An Operations Employee working in the Small Box department are responsible for producing quality US Tarp products. They are trained to use tools and equipment to ensure products are created efficiently and correctly. In addition, they assist with the assembly of all US Tarp products and analyze their work to ensure issues are identified and dealt with accordingly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Build and assemble various electrical components for production including switch kits, rockers, waterproof rockers, and dual contractors.
- Assemble electrical components and switches for special orders.
- Create custom orders such as electrical boxes, bent arms, and/or cross tubes.
- Assist in other areas of operations as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Conduct quality control checks; notifying the leads and supervisor of concerns.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Basic computer skills and Microsoft.
- Ability to read, write, perform simple arithmetic, and measure accurately.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in production and documentation.
- Ability to understand and maintain quality and safety standards.
- Ability to route and distribute materials.
- Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate channels.
