What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Engineer position at US Tech Solutions?
Duration: 17 months contract
Job Description:
- The main function of a Lab/Test Engineer at this level is to apply configuration skills at an expert level. The Test Engineer will analyze, design and develop test plans and should be familiar with at least one programming language
Responsibilities:
- Performs repeatable testing procedures and processes.
- Verifies triggers, stored procedures, referential integrity, hardware product or system specifications.
- Interprets and modifies code as required that may include C/C , C# batch files, make files, Perl scripts, queries, stored procedures and/or triggers.
Experience:
- Database programming experience, i.e. SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, Informix and/or DB2 may be required.
- Software testing experience in a Web-based or Windows client/server environment required.
- Experience in development and/or database administration experience using a Microsoft product required.
Skills:
- Experience in Analog post silicon validation (5-10 years).
- Experience in test automation using GPIB / USB, MCS, TCPIP (5-10 years).
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree
