A typical day may look like this:
- Assist with inventory control and replenishment of tooling
- Wax dip tools for kits
- Build and audit kits
- Audit returned kits
- Wash tools
- Help with transfers
- Build new kits according to usage and min max levels
- Adjust returned tools back into appropriate system if reusable
- Collect dull tools from kits for return for regrind
- Set up tooling assemblies for production using set-up sheets and tooling drawings
- Communicate with machine operators to determine tooling needed for upcoming projects
- Assist with tool crib duties as needed
- Communicate needs of machine operators with buyers and/or supervisor
- Notify supervisor of notable spikes in usage
- Other duties as assigned
- 60% Standing, Bending, Reaching, Kneeling
- 20% Walking
- 10% Sitting
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Frequent pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs.
